Preoperative Instructions
- Eat normally on the night before surgery and have an early light dinner.
- Completely clean the genital area.
On the morning of the operation?
Abstain from food and drink after midnight on the night before surgery.
Do not take any aspirin or medications containing pain relievers at least 10 days before the operation, as these medications have side effects that can reduce platelet function and, consequently, the ability to heal wounds.
Take an antibiotic injection on the morning of the operation (Cefotax 1g vial).
Do not raise your head too much.
Drink water and fluids abundantly.
An appointment will be scheduled for follow-up with Professor Khaled Jadallah for a quick examination after the surgery.
- Rest for 24 hours after the operation to reduce swelling.
- Avoid strenuous exercises (including sex) or lifting weights, and you can resume your normal activities after 5 days.
- If you feel discomfort, stop the activity for another day.
- Apply ice packs to the thigh and the covered area for 24 hours to help reduce swelling.
- Sexual intercourse according to the guidance of Professor Khaled Jadallah.
Regarding the diet, start with clear fluids or a light meal, then resume your normal eating.

Take prescribed pain relievers to alleviate pain after eating always.
Take your prescribed medications from Professor Khaled Jadallah.
- Anesthesia interferes with metabolism, so you must rest on the day of the operation.
- Do not drive your car on the day of the operation.
- Do not eat any heavy or large meals until the next day, as a fatty meal is difficult to digest. Avoid spicy and fatty foods.

- Fever with chills and shivering
- Feeling of vomiting
- Allergy from taking the medication
- Expect a small amount of bloody discharge from the wound
- If the discharges persist or redness or swelling occurs at the wound site
